These terms govern your use of Layaway Philippines. By creating a plan or buying an item, you agree to them.
1. Layaway is not a loan
Layaway lets you reserve an item and pay for it over time. It is not credit, financing, or a loan. There is no interest, no credit check, and no debt. You only ever pay the item's price.
2. Deposits and installments
To start a plan you pay a deposit (15%–40% of the price) and choose an available term. The remaining balance is divided into equal monthly installments. Amounts and due dates are shown before you confirm and are tracked in your passbook.
3. 0% interest
The total you pay equals the item price. We never add interest or financing charges. The final installment may be adjusted by a few pesos so the total matches the price exactly.
4. Reservation and shipping
When your deposit clears, the item is reserved and held for you and removed from available stock. Your item is shipped or released only after the final installment has cleared — never before.
5. Missed or late payments
Installments are due on the dates shown. After the due date plus a short grace period, an unpaid installment makes the plan overdue. Your reservation is kept while you bring the plan current. We may send reminders for upcoming and overdue installments.
6. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel a plan before it is fully paid by contacting us; the item is returned to stock. Handling of amounts already paid (including whether the deposit is refunded or forfeited) follows our cancellation policy in effect at the time. Please review this before starting a plan.
7. Pricing and availability
Prices, items, available terms, and stock may change. Stock is limited and a plan reserves a single unit; if an item is out of stock you will not be able to start a plan for it.
8. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the accuracy of the details you provide, including your delivery address. Notify us of any unauthorized use.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
